PRIVATE EQUITY DIVISION
In 2008 NAMC Worldwide launched
its Private Equity Division and the initial focus are
investments in small cap companies based in the United States
but with global expansion projections.
Sectors that are of major
interest include technology, medical technology, wholesale
pharmaceutical distribution and real estate investment trusts.
Both private and public
small cap companies should have their financials, 5-year
projections, and business plan prepared.
The investment range is
dependent on the overall company, their funding requirements,
use of funds, and the management team that is currently in
place. Investments from US$5 million and above would be the
normal investment for this sector.
Serious consideration
would be given to those small cap companies with multi-billion
projects on the table that have the business plan and
projections fully completed for those projects.
Project examples include
real estate development, a major acquisition, and development
of infrastructure.
NAMC would also consider
the total acquisition of companies in the wholesale
pharmaceutical distribution and real estate sectors in the
United States that fit our criteria.
